What Are the Benefits?

On-site chair massage is a convenient and effective way to reduce stress, boost morale, and improve productivity.  In just 10-15 minutes, a chair massage can provide numerous benefits, including:

1. Reduced stress and tension: A quick massage can help alleviate work-related or general stress, with the feeling of being refreshed and rejuvenated.

2. Improved focus and productivity: A brief break for a massage can help clear the mind, allowing individuals to return to work or everyday activities with increased focus and concentration.

3. Decreased muscle pain and discomfort: Sitting at a desk all day can lead to muscle tension and discomfort. Chair massages can help address these issues and prevent long-term discomfort.

4. Enhanced morale: Providing on-site chair massages shows your guests that you value their well-being, fostering a positive environment and boosting overall satisfaction.

How It Works...

What to Expect

Prior to the event start time, there should be at least 20 minutes reserved for setting up the equipment.  As the event begins, your guest may walk up, one by one, in 10-15 minute intervals.  Each guest is receiving up to 10 or 15 minutes of a fully clothed massage session, which includes the back, neck, shoulders, and in some cases, the arms and hands.

Having a sign-up sheet is recommended but not always necessary.  This helps keep track of everyone receiving a service, which is most helpful when you may be unsure of how many participants you will have.  Otherwise, the service is rendered on a "first come, first serve" basis.  You can discuss these arrangements with Angela, as you plan for your event.

Chair Massage Terms & Conditions

Pricing

Pricing is $50/hour, plus $30 for travel/setup.  Gratuity will be included in the price as an additional 15%, unless you opt to encourage your guests to tip individually.  This is standard pricing for events with 10+ guests.  Otherwise, anything less than 10 guests, you can expect to pay $15 per person, with an additional $30 for travel/setup, and your guests can be encouraged to tip individually.  You can also expect to pay an additional $10-20 for parking if applicable (example:  if there is a public parking garage/lot).

You may be asked to secure a $50 non-refundable deposit.  All charges will be reviewed and paid via invoice.  Invoices will be sent prior to your event and can be paid any time from the date received, but no later than the conclusion of your event (same day).  Late fees and legal action may incur if applicable.  

Timing

Guests may receive 10-15 minutes of massage depending on the number of guests and the duration of your event. 

 

Example 1:  If you have 20 guests, it may be better for each person to receive only 10 minutes of massage, which will total to approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes (coming to about $175, base pay; you'd be saving $125). 

 

Example 2:  If you have 6 guests, then each person can receive the maximum of 15 minutes of massage, which will total to approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes (coming to $75 base pay; you'd be saving a total of $15).

Example 3:  If you have 40 guests, and you're unsure how many of them will receive a service, we can keep the timing for up to 10 minutes per person (max).  It's in the interest of AmaZEN Hands to help you obtain the best deal, so as mentioned above, you will only be charged in a way that benefits you more.  That said, if it is better to charge per person ($15/each) rather than being charged by the hour, then your invoice will be adjusted accordingly.

​Example 4:  You have the option to choose to hire for a specific amount of time.  If your event is 4 hours but you only want to hire Angela for 2 hours.  The same rules apply for how you may be charged (by the hour/per person), whichever is best.

Although it is usually standard to be charged by the hour, however, the price can be negotiated depending on the nature of your event.  More details can be discussed as you plan for your event, and we can work out the finer details and final pricing later.

Please Note:  A break with a minimum of 15 minutes is required for anything over 2.5 hours, however, that time will not be included in the price.

Travel Distance

There is no additional fee other than the standard flat fee of $30 for travel/setup for areas surrounding the Indianapolis/Metropolitan area.  You must be located no further than 20 miles or 45 minutes outside of Indianapolis, Indiana.  This is for surrounding areas such as Carmel, Avon, Plainfield, etc.  Anything that is over 20 miles or more than 1 hour outside of Indianapolis will be an additional fee of $1/mile.  Please submit a contact form to provide further details about your location for more accurate and affordable pricing options.

Special Gifts

Want to Add a Little Something Special?

Who doesn't love a goodie bag or party favor?  I love to "wow" people.  Occasionally, I may add a little something special for your guests.  It may be no surprise to you as the host, but to your guest, it can be the cherry on top!  If you would like me to provide something specific to give to your guests (gift basket, wine bottle, or anything fancy), then we can discuss the details and arrange for proper accommodations and budget.

 

However, I don't have a problem randomizing a small bag or treat for your guests.  A lot of times, it will be something very inexpensive but thoughtful, and at no extra cost to you (ex. tea bags, stress balls, lip balm, etc.).  Just give me the green light, and I will help make your event even more special and memorable!
